A study recently conducted by C&R research, a full-service custom consumer research firm, has found that consumers are not put off by the “imitation” labels found on surimi seafood products in the U.S. market. In addition, the study found that consumers seeing information about surimi seafood’s origin - Wild Alaska Pollock - was a “huge bonus.”
