JAPAN: September Imports of Seafood Decreased by 11%, Value Decreased By 14%
According to the preliminary trade statistics released by the Ministry of Finance on October 19, the quantity of seafood imports in September decreased by 10.6% from the same month of the previous year to 143,857 tons. The amount decreased by 14.2% to 104,409 million yen ($1,010.1 million).
