Mexico's Third Largest Grocery Chain Commits to Sustainable Seafood Sourcing
With support from NGO SmartFish Rescate de Valor, Grupo Chedraui, Mexico's third largest grocery chain, has committed to sourcing sustainable seafood. The announcement was made earlier this week at the Latin American Summit on Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture.
Chedraui is the first supermarket chain from Latin America to join a global movement of retail companies contributing to the conservation of aquatic ecosystems through their purchasing decisions.
