Quebec-based Mining Company Fined $350,000 for Violation of Fisheries Act
Breakwater Resources Limited, operators of the Langlois Mine in Quebec, Canada pleaded guilty in Val d’Or courthouse to one count of violating the Fisheries Act. The company will be fined $350,000 CAD directed to the Government of Canada’s Environmental Damages Fund.
