Gloucester to Receive $3 Million Grant From EDA To Protect City From Flooding
The city of Gloucester is set to receive a generous federal grant to help with flooding.
U.S. Rep Seth Moulton announced that Gloucester will receive a $3 million grant from the Economic Development Administration (EDA). The grant will fund the final design, permitting and construction of a flood barrier to protect Gloucester's Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF). In addition, it will also support recovery efforts from past flooding disasters in the area.
