Russian, Ukrainian Fishermen Test Positive for COVID-19 in New Zealand
New Zealand, a country that has been able to contain the coronavirus throughout the pandemic had its largest jump in cases since early spring thanks to overseas fishing crews from Russia and Ukraine.
The Ministry of Health reported 25 new COVID-19 cases on October 21, 18 of which are fishermen who entered the country and are in quarantine at a New Zealand hotel. According to the NZ Herald, 440 fishermen from Russia and Ukraine have entered the country and 270 are expected to head out on their boats next month...
