JAPAN: Laboratory Grown Octopus Reaches 500 Grams in Six Months
The Japan Fisheries Research and Education Agency announced on the 18th that it has succeeded in growing octopus to the shipping size at an onshore facility. As a result of breeding in a small aquarium that avoids cannibalism, more than 40% survived, and 90% of them reached a shipping size of 500 grams or more in half a year.
