Rhode Island Fishermen Impacted by Trade War to Receive $10 Million in Tariff Relief
Fishermen from the state of Rhode Island can receive about $10 million in tariff relief, according to estimates from Senator Jack Reed (D-RI).
As part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) $530 million in funding to help the seafood industry which was heavily impacted due to the retaliatory tariffs, Rhode Island fishermen can apply for cash payouts of up to $250,000.
