ANALYSIS: July Shrimp Imports Higher By Double Digits
July shrimp imports were released Thursday and reversed the negative year-over-year trend seen the last two months. Data released showed July imports to be 12.9 percent higher than 2019 at 150.201 million (v 133.042) pounds.
Urner Barry Consulting Economist Angel Rubio predicted the July total to come in at 148.795 million pounds.
