Chilean Salmon Industry Faces the "Unknown" as Truck Strike Looms
UPDATE: Thursday, August 27, 2020 12:18 P.M. -- At midnight the National Confederation of Land Cargo Transportation of Chile (CNTC) followed through on their threat of striking. Reuters reports that trucks are blocking an "arterial route outside the capital Santiago toward the port city of Valparaiso." There is also a threat of a "larger blockade toward lunchtime."
