Price of Coho Salmon Farmed in Miyagi Falls Below 500 yen/kg
Production of farmed coho salmon in Miyagi Prefecture is now over. Farming was sound throughout the season, and the production reached the goal of 14,000 tons. Landed price, however, declined about 20% due to an ample supply of low-priced Chilean coho.
