ANALYSIS: June Shrimp Imports Significantly Higher From Last Month, Slightly Below Last Year
June shrimp imports were released yesterday and declined year-over-year for the second straight month, but at a much smaller rate than May. The data showed June imports at 112.282 million pounds, only three percent below last year’s 115.744 million pounds. The June figure was nearly 29 million pounds above May imports of 83.357 million pounds.
