The Week That Was: Alaska’s Worst for COVID-19 and Cases Still Climbing This Week
In its weekly case report Alaska’s Department of Health and Human Services (DHSS) said it was the worst week since the pandemic arrived of rapid increases in cases, rising by 34% in one week.
The majority of new cases are in the 20-29 year old range. With the current rate of physical distancing, face coverings, and other ways to prevent transmission, cars are expected to rise sharply.
