Visitors to Alaska Now Need Negative COVID Test to Enter State
Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy tightened up the requirements to enter the state yesterday with a mandate that all visitors will soon have to submit a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours prior to arrival. The new policy will begin August 11.
Prior to the change, visitors had options to get tested at the Anchorage airport and quarantine until the results are available, or quarantine for 14 days before going to final destinations in the state. The timing of testing results has been a barrier for many visitors ...
