Human Rights at Sea, an organization established for the benefit of the international community concerning explicit engagement in exposing and ending abuses at sea, published a new report last week on fisheries observer deaths at sea, human rights, and the role and responsibilities of fisheries organizations. The report features facts about the ongoing investigation into the March 2020 death of Kiribati Fisheries Observer Eritara Aatii Kaierua, who was on board the Taiwanese flagged WIN FAR No. 636.
