Norwegian Seafood Export Value Reaches All-Time High in First-Half Year
According to the Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC), the export value of the Norwegian seafood reached an all-time high for the first half of the year.
The main driving factor behind the boost in export value is the weak Norwegian krone, according to the Council’s CEO Renate Larsen.
“Despite a very challenging spring with the corona crisis, we have still seen growth in seafood exports in the first half of the year. Salmon, trout, herring and mackerel have increased the most compared to the first half of 2019,” Larsen said...
