Two Die After Crab Vessel Strikes Jetty Near Florence, Ore.; One Crewman Rescued
A husband-and-wife crew of a Florence, Ore., fishing vessel and local seafood outlet lost their lives Monday when their vessel struck the South Jetty of the Siuslaw River in Oregon. Kyle and Amber Novelli owned the vessel that fished for crab and albacore tuna. They also owned and operated Novelli's Crab and Seafood on the Florence waterfront.
