Kura Sushi to Purchase 200 Tons of Red Seabream
Kura Sushi, an operator of revolving sushi chain, began purchasing 200 tons of farmed red seabream from five fish farms in Ehime Prefecture starting June 23. The fish farms have been suffering from drastically decreased sales affected by the coronavirus. Kura Sushi will cooperate with the fishermen who are in a difficult situation.
Kura Sushi had purchased in the past fruity fish called as Mikan Citrus Yellowtail and Mikan Citrus Salmon, which grew with feed mixed with Mikan Citrus, a specialty fruit of Ehime Prefecture.
