Storm Sinks Blumar’s Salmon Cages, Extent of Escapement Unknown
Blumar’s operations at their “Caicura” farming center in Seno Reloncaví, Hualaihué commune, Palena province, Los Lagos region, suffered a devastating blow over the weekend when a strong storm sank 16 of their salmon cages.
The seafood company released a statement confirming that around 1 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, their farming site was battered by the Puelche wind storm.
