Norwegian Seafood Producers Turn to IBM Blockchain Technology
Norway’s seafood industry is working to provide safer, better seafood to consumers, and they’re doing so with the help of IBM Blockchain Technology.
Atea, IBM and Sjømatbedriftene, the Norwegian Seafood Association, announced on Thursday that they are involved in an industry-wide collaboration to use blockchain technology to share supply chain data across Norway’s seafood industry. Companies, including Kvarøy Arctic and BIoMar, are currently in the process of putting data onto the network.
