Tuna Price-Fixing Case Delay Denied; Top Companies Now Appealing Class Certifications
An appellate court has denied a motion from major tuna companies to pause a class-action price-fixing lawsuit as they battle class certifications.
The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit denied a motion from Bumble Bee Foods, StarKist and Chicken of the Sea to stay court proceedings until the companies could complete their challenges of class action certifications.
