Scottish Salmon Farmer Purchases First Processing Facility
Scotland-based salmon farmer Loch Duart’s purchased its first processing facility in the company’s 21-year history. Loch Duart sees the investment as a pathway to greater flexibility and control.
The facility is located in Dingwall on the Black Isle and was previously owned by The Edinburgh Salmon Company. Loch Duart said the facility was mothballed in 2018 and it has plans to refurbish the 52,000 square foot facility before opening.
