Shrimp Farmers in China Suffer From a Harsh Market, But There Are Some Luckier Ones
Many shrimp prices declined in the Chinese market at the end of May, and some regions like the Pearl River Delta have seen price decrease between 1 yuan/jin to 4 yuan/jin (1 jin=0.5 kilo) compared with the previous week. Farmers complain about continual price contraction, and seemingly they are far from optimistic about the near future.
