Northern Ireland Aquaculture Sector Receives £360,000 in Support
Fisheries Minister of Northern Ireland Edwin Poots announced a £360,000 support package for the country’s aquaculture sector after the impact COVID-19 has had on the industry.
The funding aims to support aquaculture business including oyster and trout producers who have witnessed a significant drop in sales thanks to COVID-19, the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs explained.
