Massive Fire Hits San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf, City’s Seafood Industry Takes Another Blow
A four-alarm fire erupted at the San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf on May 23, leading to the collapse of a warehouse full of fishing gear.
The 100-foot high blaze took out Shed C on Pier 45 with no injuries or deaths reported as 150 firefighters were on the scene to battle the blaze, the San Francisco Fire Department said the cause remains under investigation.
