Coast Guard Aircrews Rescue Fishermen from Grounded Vessel Near Oregon Inlet
According to a Facebook post from U.S. Coast Guard Station Oregon Inlet, a 72-foot fishing vessel was grounded on March 1 within one mile of the Oregon Inlet.
As of the latest update from the station, the boat remained close to the navigational channel in the area.
Following a report from Sea Tow on the morning of March 1, the Coast Guard was able to establish communications with the vessel.
