New Collaboration Helps Small Scale Farmers in SE Asia Be More Sustainable
A new collaboration among sustainability groups is aimed at helping small-scale seafood farmers in Vietnam and Indonesia become more environmentally responsible while introducing efficiencies that may cut farmers’ costs.
The Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC), the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership (SFP), and the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch Programme have teamed up to help SE Asian fish farmers adopt more responsible practices which will benefit retailers and consumers.
