NOAA Investigates Effects of Ocean Acidification on Scallops
NOAA scientists and students and faculty at Massachusetts Maritime Academy partnered to study the impact ocean acidification has on Atlantic sea scallops.
The experiment was led by NOAA research chemist Shannon Meseck, who was the first to directly measure the response of juvenile Atlantic sea scallops to ocean acidification.
