Taiwanese Crewman Saved by U.S. Coast Guard and Navy Off Guam
A 61-year-old crewman on a Taiwanese fishing vessel was medivaced to Guam after being found unresponsive in his room. He was brought to U.S. Naval Hospital Guam in stable condition, then transferred to Guam Memorial Hospital.
Last Friday afternoon the Coast Guard's Honolulu watchstanders notified the USCG search and rescue team in Guam of the crewmember's ailment.
