Zhangzhidao Scrambles to Sell Cucumber Aquaculture Sites After Disastrous Year
Zhangzidao’s shareholders are still recovering from the company's recent repeated scallop disappearance and the decision to drop quite a number of aquaculture areas. But in early January, the company shocked the public again with its plan of selling the rights to four sea areas, mainly for sea cucumber farming.
Such a deal is estimated to create a revenue of 100.5 million yuan (~$14.5 million USD) and a net profit around 71 million yuan (~$10.3 million USD) for the company...
