Ban on Food Products from Fukushima Lifted in the Philippines
The ban on food products from Fukushima has been lifted in the Philippines.
Following the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster, a number of countries, including the Philippines, began testing for radiation on specific types of seafood and agricultural products that come from Fukushima and the surrounding areas. The Philippines government confirmed earlier this week that restrictions on those food imports has now been lifted.
