Support for Families of the Scandies Rose Crew Raises $52,000 in the Days Following the Tragedy
In an outpouring of empathy and grief, people from Alaska, the Lower 48, and as far away as Norway have donated more than $52,000 in the first week following the sinking of the Scandies Rose off the coast of the Alaska Peninsula on New Year’s Eve.
