Bumble Bee, Creditors Clash Over Potential Bonus Payouts to Top Executives
Bumble Bee Foods fired back at unsecured creditors who filed an objection to plans to pay bonuses to a trio of top executives.
The Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors filed an objection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware on January 3. The committee cited that Bumble Bee should not pay the bonuses of three individuals, “who, based on testimony given at the criminal trial of [Bumble Bee Foods’] recently convicted former CEO, were directly involved in the Debtors’ prepetition price-fixing conspiracy...”
