Russian Government May Ease Tax Pressure on Domestic Fishermen
The Russian government may revise the proposed tax reform for the domestic fish and seafood sector, in a move to reduce tax pressure on domestic fishermen, according to recent statements, made by some senior state officials and industry analysts.
According to initial state plans, the raise of taxes on domestic fish producers (which is scheduled for the beginning of next year) should have resulted in the attraction of additional revenue to the state budget on the sum of RUB 90 billion (USD$1.42 billion)...
