CDFW Director Shortens California Crab Season Delay by One Day, to Nov. 22
California Department of Fish and Wildlife Director Charlton Bonham on Tuesday confirmed a Dungeness crab season delay -- but only until Nov. 22, not Nov. 23, as originally proposed. The delay should help protect humpback and blue whales from potential gear entanglement, the agency said.
