Vistgate Acquires Majority Interest in W Stevenson and Sons
Vistgate Limited, one of the top fish processors in the United Kingdom announced its acquisition of the majority interest in W Stevenson and Sons Limited.
W Stevenson and Sons own one of the biggest beam trawl fleets in Europe and Newlyn market auctioneers.
Vistgate, which trades as Ocean Fish and is the supplier of the major UK and European retailers and wholesalers, sees the acquisition as being a “significant step towards a dynamic improvement of the supply and catch sector.”
