Vietnam’s basa used to be a rock star in the global seafood market, but recent months have seen it declining. As statistics show, its export value has dropped by 7.7% to $1.3 billion USD within the first eight months of 2019 compared with the same period last year. And the decrease, which started in March, has continued for six consecutive months.
