ICCAT: Futures of Several Atlantic Ocean Fisheries in Jeopardy
According to scientists from the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT) Standing Committee on Research and Statistics, several Atlantic Ocean species are in trouble.
At the ICCAT meeting in Spain next month, fisheries managers will be making key decisions to protect the future of Atlantic fisheries. The focus will be on the decline of shortfin mako sharks, alongside bigeye tuna and blue marlin.
