Maine to Implement New Approach to Wild Atlantic Salmon Restoration
The Maine Department of Resources (DMR) will take a fresh approach to rearing Atlantic salmon for restoring native populations to the Penobscot River.
The NOAA-funded project will be a partnership between the DMR, Cooke Aquaculture USA and other stakeholders to grow juvenile salmon in aquaculture pens.
