New Study: Tanner Crab Among Most Vulnerable in Eastern Bering Sea

Tanner crab are one of seven stocks identified as most vulnerable to climate change in the Eastern Bering sea. The study was led by NOAA Fisheries, as reported in the Cordova Times by Margaret Bauman.
The climate vulnerability assessment released on Sept. 19 by NOAA scientists and partners also identified as among the most vulnerable stocks flathead sole, Pacific Ocean perch, rougheye rockfish, shortraker rockfish and shortspine thornyhead.
