Coast Guard Rescues Fishing Crew from Burning Boat Off Hawaii
Six fishermen and a NOAA observer were rescued from their burning boat by the U.S. Coast Guard eight miles off Oahu’s southern shore yesterday afternoon.
A mayday call was received at 4:29 p.m. Tuesday from the crew of the commercial fishing vessel Miss Emma as they battled an onboard fire.
