U.S. Lobster Export Prices to Vietnam Surge on Falling Supply
The current prices of U.S. lobsters to Vietnam have increased by 30% from the prices a month ago because of the sharp drop in the volume, the local newswire VnExpress (vnexpress.vn) cited traders as saying.
One month earlier, the prices of U.S. lobsters had been at VND500,000-VND800,000 ($21.5-$34.4) per kilogram, which was 10%-20% lower than those of Vietnamese lobsters.
