ANALYSIS: Shrimp Imports Higher in July, Extending the Streak to Five-Straight Months
July imports were released today and show an increase in total volume for the fifth-straight month. Shipments to the U.S. in July were 8.1 percent higher when compared to the same month in 2018, and the year-to-date total now exceeds the prior year.
Year-over-year increases were seen from India (+8.3%), Indonesia (+2.2%), Ecuador (+32.6%) and Vietnam (+46.3%). Fewer were shipped from Thailand (-0.4%) and China (-46.2%)...
