NOAA Seeking Comments on April 2019 Control Date for Lobster Fishery
NOAA Fisheries announced on Thursday that they are seeking comments on a control date, or a date that may be used to establish eligibility, for the American lobster fishery as they "consider ways to reduce threats of entanglement by fixed-gear fisheries to North Atlantic right whales."
The government agency clarified that this is not a proposed rule.
