Alaska Salmon Landings Now at More Than 155 Million Fish, 73% of Pre-Season Forecast
Total salmon landings in Alaska have reached more than 155.8 million through August 18th. Pink salmon landings from Prince William Sound and Kodiak were mostly responsible for the uptick of 30 million salmon in one week, the largest weekly harvest of the 2019 statewide season. Pink landings are now at 87.2 million salmon.
