Veramaris yesterday celebrated the opening of its new USD 200 million facility in Blair, Nebraska, in the presence of Governor Pete Ricketts, local authorities, Feike Sijbesma and Christian Kullmann, the CEOs of Veramaris' parent companies DSM and Evonik.
Speaking to Feedinfo News Service, Veramaris CEO, Karim Kurmaly said that the facility was completed ahead of schedule and has started commercial deliveries of its omega-3 algal oil.
