Captain Neill's Seafood Accused of Lacey Act Violation; Reportedly Falsely Labeled Crabmeat
Captain Neill's Seafood, a North Carolina business that purchases, processes, packages, transports and sells seafood and seafood products, has found themselves in hot water. The company, who touts that they've been "producing fresh domestic crabmeat for almost 30 years," has been accused of violating the Lacey Act by knowingly false labeling foreign crabmeat as domestic.
