Denmark Researchers Create Underwater Robot That Can Count Starfish
Thanks to researchers at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), divers may no longer be needed to monitor the amount of starfish under mussel lines.
For two years, researchers at DTU have been working on a project called SENTINEL. As part of the project, researchers developed a platform with a laser camera, HD low-light camera, and sensors that can measure temperature, pressure and turbidity.
