Rep. Huffman and 53 Members of Congress Call Pebble DEIS “Indefensible”
In a strongly worded letter to Assistant Secretary of the Army R.D. James and Commander of the U.S Army Corps of Engineers in Alaska, California Rep. Jason Huffman and 53 other members of Congress criticized the Draft Environmental Impact Statement the Corps has submitted for the Pebble Mine complex at the headwaters of Bristol Bay.
