Nielsen Study Finds Consumers Care Most About Buying Local
“Locally caught.” That could be a selling point for many consumers, according to a new study from Nielsen.
Nielsen reports that a “conscious awakening” occuring within the U.S. consumer packaged goods and food grocery landscape has increased shoppers’ desire for better food options. These shoppers are now socially aware of many causes, including the decline in bee populations, GMO in foods, antibiotic use in animal production, and much more.
